Sabaq, sabqi and manzil
- Sabaq is the new lesson: usually a few lines to a page or two, recited to the teacher when it is solid.
- Sabqi is the recent portion: the pages learned in the last days, repeated with each new lesson until they settle.
- Manzil is older revision: a set amount each day, going round everything memorized so far.
Getting the most out of the sheet
- Fill it in right after each recitation, while the mistakes are fresh.
- Write the page numbers, not only "1 page": it shows where revision should pick up.
- Circle the pages that slipped and bring them back in the next days' revision.
